What’s New at WCSU?

The Fresh Start for your Campus Life Experience at Central Wisconsin University is here! We are excited to share that the new look for the website is almost ready. This is a change from our normal, traditional website design. We wanted to keep the same basic elements but bring them into better, modern coordination. The old website design was based on a Microsoft website and was starting to look pretty old-fashioned. We hope you like the new look!

Fresh Start for Your Campus Life Experience

With the new look for your school life cycle, you’ll notice a few changes that are smaller but still impact your school life. First, your school calendar has been slightly adjusted to better match your school’s start and end dates. This means that beginning in September, you will start your school year with the same daily event schedule as you did last year, including your first day of school on August 26th. In addition to your regular course schedule, you will be taking a lot of flexible courses in the Veterinary Nutrition Program. You will be able to select which courses you would like to take in the fall, and how many credits you are allowed to complete in each course. You will also be able to select courses in the interdisciplinary certificate program that begins in January.

what is zny WCSU

The ZNY (Zone of Co-existence) system was created by the World Health Organization to address the diverse needs of people living in areas with frequent epidemics or endemic diseases. It groups people together on the basis of their similarities in order to facilitate the spread of preventable diseases. Zones are defined by a boundary where people are allowed to stay free of specific diseases.

We have received national recognition for our team and athletes for our record-setting performances. As a certified member of the NCAA, CWSU does not have to pay for its athletes to participate in any other sport for the rest of their life. Olympic gold medalists, world record holders, and state record holders, our athletes are the cream of the field. CWT is a part of the Fresh Start for your Campus Life Experience at Central Wisconsin University.

cwsu Memphis

Memphis, as you may know, is the birthplace of rock and roll. But that’s not all. In 1819, the city was designated the temporary capital of the United States because the country was in debt, and the capital needed to be close to the money.

cwsu map

The map feature on the main page of the website will now include a map of the entire university as well as the surrounding community. You’ll find this on the homepage, under the map of the university.

New Look for Your School Life Cycle

The main page of the website will also have a new look. We’ve made some adjustments to the navigation and header to provide a better layout for the website. You’ll notice that your school’s name will now be featured prominently at the top of the page. This is due to changes that we’ve made to the school coat of arms.

What’s in store for CWSU in the Fall?

When you look back at our fall schedule, you will notice that there are fewer events per day. This is due to the transition to the fall semester. This is a good thing because it will allow you to spend more time with your students, teaching them more than just the week before their last exams. CWT also switches to a quarter system in the fall so that students will be able to complete more coursework in less time. With less activity, there will be less competition and socializing among students. This will make it easier to focus on your lessons with fewer distractions. Social life will also be less due to the reduced number of events per day. Finally, there will be less time for winter break and vacation.
